Frontline Outreach, Orlando’s oldest outreach to urban children, is a monument to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, urban evangelist Tom Skinner’s message of hope, and C. R. and Estelle Smith’s dedication to serve youth in Orlando’s urban community. In the heart of Orlando’s west side and surrounded by over 1,000 housing units, Frontline Outreach is on the cutting edge of urban early-childhood education and leadership development for urban youth.

Serving over 1,000 people annually, the Team at Frontline offers educational and leadership programs for youth and families in urban Orlando. Our vision is to prepare young people to become world-class leaders through early childhood and character-development programs. Our goal is to reach every child in the apartment communities surrounding the Ministry.

Frontline is aggressive in addressing the issues that confront urban children and their families. Our mission is to prepare tomorrow’s leaders for success and service. Leadership is engaged with these initiatives that impact children: Vision Orlando, Orlando City of Promise, Orlando’s Faith-based and Community Grant Program, Greater Orlando Leadership Foundation, DeVos Urban Leadership Initiative, Leadership Orlando, National Learning Communities Initiative, Bank of America Neighborhood Builders Program, Orange County Early Learning Coalition, and Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce.

By joining the fight for Orlando’s inner city, Ministry partners are assisting the Frontline Team to become the standard bearer in service to urban youth. The Team actively collaborates with the State of Florida, City of Orlando, Orange County Head Start, the Department of Juvenile Justice, Department of Children and Families, Community Coordinated Care for Children, University of Central Florida, Orange County Schools, and many churches and businesses to serve children and families in urban Orlando. In over four decades of service, the Ministry has received many awards including designation as President George Bush’s 839th Point of Light, the 2004 DisneyHand—Helping Kids Shine Award, one of Governor Jeb Bush’s 2005 Points of Light in Florida, a 2005 Neighborhood Builder Award by Bank of America, and designation as a Gold Seal Early Learning Center through Community Coordinated Care for Children.
