Together, we are preparing them to become world-class leaders.
Frontline offers many ways for volunteers to use and expand
their skills and talents to make a difference in the lives of

- Pre-K/Toddler Classroom Mothers
Serve as a classroom mother assisting the teacher. Help
students (ages 2-4) learn phonics, word and letter recognition,
and other information to prepare for kindergarten.
2 ½ hours/ day
(9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.) Monday - Friday
- After-School Tutors
Assist students (ages 6-12) in reading and math; serve as
a mentor and positive role model in the lives of your community’s
youth.
1 hour/ day
(3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.) Monday - Friday
- Back-up for Ministry Information
Technician
Serve as a back-up for the front desk receptionist during
lunch breaks and morning weekly devotions.
1 hour/ day
(1:30 – 2:30 p.m.) Monday - Friday and additional
1 ¼hr. on Tuesdays (8:45 a.m. - 10 a.m.)
- Basketball Coaches
Teach students (ages 7-18) basketball and coaching techniques;
supervise practices and games.
6 hours/ week
Monday - Saturday
Read & Succeed
- Reading Mentors
Read and listen to students (ages 5-16) read. Discuss comprehension
and vocabulary activities.
1 hour/ week
(6 - 7 p.m.) Tuesdays
- Book Club Mentors
Lead book clubs for accelerated readers (ages 7-12). Read
books and develop discussion questions.
1 hour/ week
(6 - 7 p.m.) Tuesdays
- 3. Resource Partners
Use your expertise to support the Read and Succeed program
as a Resource Partner. Here are some of the opportunities:
• Identify themes, books, and arts & crafts projects
for the summer and school year.
• Develop comprehension questions and vocabulary for
each book.
• Identify materials for arts & crafts and conduct
activities.
• Lead activities during student assembly.
• Gather data for student progress: Monitor tests,
grade tests and track scores.
• Assist the Frontline Team in completing Individual
Success Plans (ISP).
• Become involved with parents and families at Frontline.
• Help identify ways to finance programs and ensure
that students have access to the up-to-date computers
and software.
1-2 hours/ month
Seasonal Opportunities
- Benefit Luncheon
Serve as a greeter during the annual luncheon fundraiser.
1 ½ hours/ year
11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
- Community Christmas
Serve as a table host, server and child-care helper. Help
families from your community wrap presents for their children.
4 ½ hours/ year
1:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
